What Is 17 Day Diet?

 17 Day Diet- BestSlimmingPills.org

17 Day Diet is one of the hottest trends in dieting because, it has been marketed on Oprah, and it was created by a doctor. How can you go wrong with Oprah and a doctor! It comes in book form. So there are no special prepackaged foods to buy, no pills, no powders, just the one-time cost, which has its advantages.

So What Does 17 Day Diet Do?

17 Day Diet works first to “cleanse” you of all of those nasty carb cravings. Technically, the 17 Day Diet website doesn’t tell you how it “cleanses” or what it’s cleansing you of. But once you throw in cravings, etc., you know that 17 Day Diet is referring to a low carb diet. I know, right now you might be asking, but isn’t 17 Day Diet different? It was created by a doctor!

Technically, so was the South Beach Diet, the Atkins Diet, technically every low carb diet was created by a “doctor” of some sort. There are only so many “different” low carb diets. Yes, low carb diets evolve. It started out with the original Atkins, which said cut out all carbs, eat whatever fatty foods you want! It evolved into the South Beach Diet, a diet that slowly introduced carbs, restricted dieters to lean proteins, and was actually created for heart patients. And now, the 17 Day Diet has made the classic low carb diet into a calorie restricted, low calorie diet too. So technically, a low carb diet can change. But why do we need a doctor to tell us any of this?

I understand that Atkins was revolutionary. Before that, we were told that fat was bad, meat was bad, and cutting calories was the only way. But ever since then, the only changes have been changes that are actually quite logical. Now 17 Day Diet has a specific exercise plan in mind. But I can’t get on board with that. 17 minutes of exercise is not enough. Most of us spend twice that time on the treadmill and it still isn’t enough! You need at least an hour per day.

Is 17 Day Diet Healthy?

Judging by all of the factors put together, the 17 Day Diet is a pretty healthy option. It gives you options. But at the same time, it gives you guidelines to help you to make better choices about the food you eat. The 17 Day Diet isn’t actually as short term as it may seem. Yes, it has phases including an introductory 1200 calorie phase, a higher calorie phase 2 (you can switch back and forth between the two), a phase 3 for slow but sustainable weight loss, and a maintenance phase. But you could technically alternate between phase 1 and 2 for as long as you need to.

According to the experts, because it’s lean protein, vegetables, etc., 17 Day Diet is good for diabetics, hyper or hypoglycemic, and many other groups including those with heart problems. But overall, I give 17 Day Diet a B+, mostly because of the cost compared to other free alternatives.
