5 Factor Diet - January 11th, 2010

The 5 Factor Diet is one of the most famous diets out there, because it has been developed by a celebrity trainer named Harley Pasternak. They claim that it’s easy and based around the number 5. Basically you have 5 meals per day based around 5 ingredients, 5 exercises each 5 minutes long, and otherwise. Basically they want to make it easy. The biggest problem with the 5 Factor Diet is it’s so simple that why would you realistically speaking need it. I mean why would you need to pay for it rather than just thinking of it for yourself. But of course, we all like the appeal of the celebrity diet, the celebrity trainer, because let’s face facts here, the celebrity is groomed and perfected in terms of fitness oftentimes. They have surgery too most of the time, but we’re not counting that.
The 5 factor diet uses 5 meals per day, 5 minutes to make, 5 ingredients, 5 exercises, each 5 minutes in duration for a total of a 25 minute workout.
The 5 Factor Diet uses a lot of common sense. It is convenient with only short workouts, and anybody can do an exercise on one part of the body for 5 minutes, right? They obviously have no standard ingredients. The 5 meals per day is a good thing. But it’s only meant to last for a short period of time, not actually giving you a long term and sustainable weight loss plan. All in all, the 5 Factor Diet is not worth your time or money, and you would only be frustrated, especially when it does not target the reasons you really struggle.
