What Is Adipex-P?

Adipex-P is a prescription generic form of the ever popular prescription Phentermine. It was a prescription appetite suppressant used in short periods of time in combination with a specified diet, exercise, and counseling plan. By short term, we mean a few weeks at a time. This being said, prescription Phentermine in general has been known as one of the most popular prescriptions out there, and Adipex-P actually uses the maximum dosage of 37.5mg, which still is small in comparison to many over the counter products. So is this product really all that appealing? Well many seem to think so considering the fact that they keep going back in cycles after it stops working the first time to get more help in losing weight.
Is Adipex P Worth It?
The problem is that Adipex-P has a number of problems and side effects to say the least. You get results for only a few weeks at which time it would lose its effectiveness and possibly cause rapid weight gain among other side effects along the way such as changes in sex drive, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, exaggerated feelings of depression or elation, headache, high blood pressure, hives, impotence, inability to fall or stay asleep, increased heart rate, overstimulation, restlessness, stomach or intestinal problems, throbbing heartbeat, tremors, unpleasant taste, and sudden extreme weight gain. It was provided in 37.5mg doses. Honestly speaking, if any over the counter product dared cause all of these problems, it would quickly be eliminated all together. But for some reason, with a prescription, we as a population as well as the FDA for some reason tend to accept it! This is ridiculous to say the least!
