African Mango Extreme Detox is a colon cleanser that not only claims to be able to rid your body of harmful toxins, but it also says that it can strip you of any unwanted fat. These claims are centered on the health claims that have been made about African Mango.
History
Not too long ago, there were some studies done on the African Mango in Cameroon that showed the participants to be able to lose about twice as much weight as those who used the placebo. Although these are definitely promising results, there haven’t been as many success stories now that African Mango has been circulated in the United States. Even though African Mango has received an alarming amount of media attention, there still haven’t been any more clinical studies that show the same results as the initial Cameroon study did.
Ingredients
Along with African Mango, African Mango Extreme Detox also includes other famous ingredients like acai and resveratrol. Although African Mango Extreme Detox claims that these ingredients help raise your metabolism, allowing you to burn more calories while at rest, the scientific world does not support these views. At best, acai and resveratrol are as beneficial to the body as any other fruit you’d find in your local grocery store. At worst, acai and resveratrol are a scam and a health hoax designed to trick people out of their money. Although not all distributors are this way, there was recently a lawsuit against an acai distributor for taking credit card numbers and charging people more than they agreed to without taking returns.
Not only do they use ingredients that might be overinflated, but they also use ingredients that could be bad for you. Senna and cascara sagrada are both stimulant laxatives and found in African Mango Extreme Detox. These ingredients have been banned by the FDA because they have been found to cause extreme abdominal pains and even diarrhea.

Because there are so many other, better, options for colon cleansers out there, we suggest you look elsewhere for your cleansing needs.
