Beauty Bum
Beauty Bum is a transdermal fat loss formula that is supposed to fight signs of cellulite and turn fat into energy just by rubbing a cream on your skin.
Although Beauty Bum isn’t the first formula to promise this, it claims to be the most complete one, so we decided to take a look at Beauty Bum to see if it really was everything it promised to be.
What Does Beauty Bum Do?
Beauty Bum claims that it is a heat activated formula that starts working once it is introduced to the heat of your skin. Then it is supposed to penetrate the subcutaneous layer of the skin where it will be absorbed into your fatty adipose tissues.
Once at the fat cells it promises to contract and release lipid particles into the blood stream, causing your “fat cells to shrink significantly and leave your skin smoother, slimmer and healthier.”
Does It Work?
Even though there is something in us that wants to believe what Beauty Bum says, we just can’t ignore the fact that it isn’t based on any sort of medical understanding or scientific findings.
Firstly, the fact that it claims to be able to “release lipid particles into the blood stream” means absolutely nothing. Although “lipid” does mean fat, and releasing these particles into the blood stream might technically be a good thing, that’s not how the body works.
When fat is broken down it is first metabolized into adenosine triphosphate (ATP) before it ever enters the blood stream. If this were not the case, there would be too much fat in the blood and it could lead to blockages, heart attacks and even strokes.
Beauty Bum could be referring to the fact that it metabolizes the fat and then releases the energy into the blood stream, but even so, they do not explain that difficult process. The body controls the metabolizing of fats by sending out different hormones that tell the cells what to do.
Our Opinion:
Without sending or imitating any of these hormones, we doubt that Beauty Bum is capable of telling the body to get rid of any of its fat stores. After looking at its ingredient list, we doubt Beauty Bum has any of these capabilities.
