What Is Benzedrine?

“Benzedrine is now the ringleader of an entirely new generation of fat loss and energy enhancement supplementation and is undeniably the strongest diet aid available without a prescription.” Sounds pretty confident to me. And why not. The natural diet pill industry has come a long way in the past 10 years or so.
We’ve moved on from products like ephedra, and we’ve discovered ingredients like green tea, which has literally been through hundreds of positive weight loss studies. The average prescription has been through 1, maybe 2 studies if you’re lucky.
And I’ve seen some products that I can honestly say may very well be better than the prescriptions. I’ve seen products that could be more effective and safer at the same time! But enough about how far the industry has come. How far has Benzedrine come?
Ingredient Description
Benzedrine ingredients include Acacia rigidula, Phenylethylamine, Methylsynephrine, N-methyl phenylethylamine, N-benzyl alpha phenylethylamine, N-methyl phenylethylamine, Theobromine, Alpha phenylethylamine HCL, Synephrine HCL, 5 methoxytryptamine HCL, L-tyrosine, and Caffeine anhydrous.
This is one time in a million where I can actually say that almost every ingredient in Benzedrine is a potentially powerful weight loss ingredient. Benzedrine has some big names like synephrine, which is famous for its connection to ephedra. It’s a chemical cousin and some are using it as a replacement for ephedra.
And by using phenylethylamine, Benzedrine guarantees that you have a fighting chance with an incredibly powerful appetite suppressant that has been put alongside prescriptions like Phentermine. Some of these ingredients like theobromine have healthy antioxidant benefits, eliminating free radicals, and Benzedrine has also been known for its euphoric, amphetamine like effect.
Why Benzedrine Doesn’t Work
Wait! I just went over all of the ways in which Benzedrine is great! I just talked about some pretty amazing ingredients in a power packed formula…..didn’t I? Yes, you can relax. Benzedrine has a pretty impressive blend of ingredients. That’s not the problem. The problem is that Benzedrine does not have enough.
Clinical studies always use certain amounts. Clinical studies on caffeine use about 400mg, studies on synephrine use at least 250mg. Benzedrine only has 200mg caffeine, and the proprietary blend that supposedly contains synephrine is a grand total of 255mg, which isn’t necessarily so bad until you consider the fact that 255mg is supposed to account for 4 different ingredients. Do you really think that Benzedrine uses 250mg synephrine and 5mg everything else? I don’t.
Side Effects
Benzedrine may still cause some side effects, mostly caffeine related, which is pretty common. But truth be told, if Benzedrine were to be effective, I wouldn’t have a huge problem with this. Caffeine side effects are really pretty common and certainly not life threatening.
