Firestorm is a weight loss aid designed by GE Pharma, promising to bring you results like increased fat loss, a boost in your body’s thermogenic metabolism, and “massive increases in endurance.” Firestorm not only promises these results, but also that you’ll start to see them within one hour of taking the supplement. Even though these claims come with a disclaimer stating that you can only expect to see these results if you also pair this supplement with a diet and exercise regimen, they were at least weighty enough to catch our attention.
How Does It Do It?
With its name being Firestorm, we imagined that GE Pharma would add some heat to the world of diet pills, but we couldn’t imagine how much heat. With 25 mg of ephedra, Firestorm is definitely a diet pill that packs a lot of punch. Even though ephedra is legal right now, it has been under constant litigation as to whether it is really a substance that will be safe for common use. In fact, only ten years ago, when ephedra was a controlled substance, the legal limit was 4 mg per a 24 hr period—Firestorm has more than six times that amount.
Any Other Concerns?
Although some people might think that because they include the most extreme ingredients, Firestorm must be the best and most effective, they should remember that the supplement industry is pretty unregulated, meaning that there are a lot of products out there that could very well hurt you. If we could guarantee that Firestorm was developed by a team of medical professionals that have the health of their consumers in mind then we would have no problem endorsing it. However, because its website is littered with spelling errors and unprofessional flame graphics, we hardly think it was developed by anyone with a PhD.
