What Is Guarana?

Guarana has long been an extremely popular and Brazilian based weight loss ingredient. There are some that would claim that it burns fat, and others claim it has various other benefits, being from the Brazilian rainforests as their miracle ingredient. They talk about guarana actually helping you to effectively speaking get all of the greater benefits you want, even being the caffeine free energy supplement. But interestingly enough, some diet pills list caffeine as one of its active constituents, which we should note is not actually true in any regard. However, it is usually combined with caffeine in those particular blends.
This being said, what does guarana actually do? It does not promote weight loss for starters. It does not even have a bit of caffeine, which actually would burn fat. However when combined with both damiana and yerba mate, one study did actually show weight loss results, just not in the way one might expect. It showed that the rate of gastric emptying, and this was completely objective actually taking ultrasounds, was slowed after taking this combination of ingredients.
This was one study, and it is somewhat debatable, especially being that they don’t actually provide the amounts used in said study. So nobody can exactly match it for sure. They can use high amounts and hope for the best realistically speaking. However, we would be more comfortable with it were they to ultimately speaking provide more information. However, on its own, guarana does not promote weight loss in any amount.
