Remember when a baseball star dropped dead after taking ephedrine? Or maybe you remember all of the other reports and incidences that came out of serious side effects, deaths, and even long term damage. All of this is downright terrifying, and yet you find products like Hydroxytrol trying to bring it back, because technically, the FDA overturned the ban, allowing companies to use extremely small and what they thought would be insignificant amounts. It changed the game, even though Hydroxytrol would like you to think otherwise.
What Ephedrine Can Do
Make no mistake, ephedrine can still cause potentially serious side effects. Multiple lawsuits have been filed because the ephedrine in certain products did just that. Ephedrine can still cause side effects. But courts have ruled against victims, because generally, the thought is that you should have known better with all of the bad press.
What Ephedrine Cannot Do
At this point, the ephedrine in Hydroxytrol cannot promote weight loss. Companies are only allowed to use about 1/10 of the amounts that would be necessary for clinically proven results. It cannot burn fat, suppress appetite, or anything else that might be even remotely positive because of this.
What Can You Expect From Hydroxytrol?
Hydroxytrol has ingredients that may seem impressive at first. Just about everybody has heard of guarana and l-carnitine at some point or another. The problem is that neither of these ingredients have ever actually been proven to promote any weight loss results. Actually, none of the ingredients in Hydroxytrol have really been proven to promote any weight loss results.
Conclusion on Hydroxytrol
Hydroxytrol may push its own agenda. But the truth is that Hydroxytrol doesn’t actually have what you would need. It does not have the clinically proven ingredients, the clinically proven amounts, and it’s dangerous enough that you would think that you would get something to balance it out.
The likelihood is that ephedrine will not be banned again any time soon due to political pressure associated with the embarrassment experienced the first time around, and Hydroxytrol will not disappear any time soon, because there are enough people who still like the idea of ephedrine. But you can still do your part and help yourself out by avoiding Hydroxytrol.
