What Is NOW Tru Hoodia Complex?
NOW Tru Hoodia Complex is a supplement centered on herbs like Green Tea, Chromium and of course its namesake: hoodia gordonii. This combination of herbal remedies is supposed to promote a healthy weight by regulating the body’s production of heat as well as maintaining a healthy blood glucose level. This supplement is also claimed to be able to alter your body’s utilization of protein and fat so that you can control where your energy comes from and which stores you want to burn away.
Does It Work?
In the world of diet supplements and weight loss pills there are many products that make outrageous claims and promise extreme results so they must go to extreme levels to try to back up their claim. However, NOW True Hoodia Complex doesn’t really do either of those things.
Their claims seem to be centered around weight loss but they don’t really promise that you’ll drop a pant size in a week, or that you’ll even see dramatic results. Because of this, they don’t really seem to be extremely concerned with packing their supplement full of hard working, fat blasting agents.
For example, they include green tea extract, touting its capabilities as a thermogenic and its caffeine that will jumpstart your metabolism. However, at 200 mg, they do not include enough to make a big dent on the chunk of calories the average person consumes per day. Another ingredient, chromium, is used in many weight loss supplements but this product only claims to use it to maintain healthy blood glucose levels.
Our Opinion:
When you’re searching for a supplement that will help you meet your weight loss goals you don’t want to be lied to, but you also want a company that believes in their product. From what we can tell, NOW Tru Hoodia Complex seems more like a health and wellness pill rather than something that will help you drop pounds.
