Offering three hearty soups, Optislim uses a VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) meal plan that they say will ensure you get the results you are looking for and keep your body working the way it should. Can the makers of Optislim deliver on these cut and dry promises or will they leave you looking for a taller cup of water?

Optislim’s VLCD weight loss program can begin for you on any of the three steps. It is up to you and your health care professional to decide which step would provide you with the exactly what you need to reach your weight loss goal.
Starting at Level 1 (Accelerated Weight Loss) is not for everyone. Step 1 requires replacing all three meals (usually for a recommended two weeks) with a VLCD Meal Replacement soup or shake. This is for very overweight consumers who need to lose a lot of weight very quickly.
Level two is much more manageable, especially if you don’t need to lose quite as much weight. Aptly named, Rapid Weight Loss still allows you to lose weight at a high speed, but drops back to only two VLCD Meal Replacement products each day.
Many people may benefit the most from the third step Balanced Weight Loss. This is for people who are much closer to their goal weight or have already reached it and want to work on maintenance.

The makers of this VLCD program, Optislim, mention several times throughout their website that their products offer you the daily vitamins and nutrients you need to ensure your continued health throughout the program, however there is no ingredient list to be found anywhere on the website or throughout any of the additional research we have performed.
We have also been unable to find any clinical studies or trials on the Optislim products. At this time, we would recommend finding something that can provide you with more solid proof of results and a safer guarantee.
