What Is Phenylethylamine?
Phenylethylamine is a derivative of chocolate, and it has been more and more often used in weight loss supplements in general. They have called it the “love drug” found in chocolate and touted it as the next big miracle. Now of course, phenylethylamine is the “love drug” in chocolate. Realistically speaking, the simple fact is that it can lift the mood and cause a certain euphoria in general. So obviously enough, it could actually work out.
This being said, it doesn’t stop there. If it were just a mood lifter, we would be against it for the simple reason that a mood lifter does not suppress appetite, burn fat, really suppress cravings, or otherwise promote real and lasting weight loss. The simple reality is that phenylethylamine is more than that. Obviously there are weight loss benefits associated with chocolate, and this is part of it. There are benefits associated with chocolate or some derivatives thereof being mixed with caffeine for a fat burning effect, and there are antioxidants as well. But phenylethylamine is slightly different.
With phenylethylamine, you of course have to have the right amounts. But some recent studies have suggested that phenylethylamine will suppress appetite. It will actively suppress your appetite when taken just 30 minutes before meals, and therefore it can stop your binge eating or excessive eating habits. This being said, it should never be the only ingredient in the blend. However, it can be quite effective in general terms. So we would definitely recommend that you check this one out in context of course.
