Super Slim Pomegranate sounds simple enough, and when we first saw it, we thought oh great, another superfruit diet pill that takes it too far. We love pomegranate, as a fruit. Fruits have plenty of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibers, you name it as far as nutrients, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, most fruits do not burn fat, suppress appetite, or cleanse. Most fruits do not promote weight loss at all, and pomegranate is no different.
That should be the end of the story. Super Slim Pomegranate does not name any other ingredients, and the name is a dead giveaway….or is it?
According to reports, Super Slim Pomegranate does not have pomegranate, it’s all namesake. The same sources make Super Slim Pomegranate one of the most controversial diet pills we’ve seen lately.
Why So Much Controversy?
This is only if you get the sealed, legitimate bottles. There are plenty of people who say that they have received opened and otherwise imitator bottles from auction sites, which don’t seem to work. However, while the results of the real bottles seem to be outstanding, there are rumors that Super Slim Pomegranate uses prescription Sibutramine.
The fact that it’s a prescription is bad, because we have yet to see any prescription diet pills that do not come with serious side effects, especially for those with medical conditions like heart disease or diabetes.
In this case, it’s a lot worse. Otherwise known as Meridia, an FDA panel recently reviewed Sibutramine and came to the conclusion that the risks were greater than the benefits leading the FDA to advise physicians to stop prescribing it and the company behind it to stop making Meridia.
Is Super Slim Pomegranate Dangerous?
So far, there is a long list of products that have been banned within the past 10 years for using prescriptions including Sibutramine, which obviously they did not list on the labels. The most recent one was something called Slimming Beauty Bitter Orange Slimming Capsules. However, Super Slim Pomegranate has never been formally recognized or pulled from the market by the FDA for the use of Sibutramine or for any other reason.
Are they paying someone off? Super Slim Pomegranate is not a big enough company to make that kind of money. Maybe Super Slim Pomegranate is just flying under the radar, but technically most of the companies that have been caught in the act have been small too.
Our Conclusion
We can only conclude that Super Slim Pomegranate does not have prescription Sibutramine. We are relatively sure it also does not have the superfruit pomegranate. Whatever it is that Super Slim Pomegranate does have, users of the sealed bottles seem to be pretty happy, bragging about some reasonable and impressive weight loss results.
What can we say, based on the information we do have (even though we would like more information), we think that it’s fair to assume that Super Slim Pomegranate has something good.
